The Old Shearing Shed

Perched high above the quiet township of Apollo Bay, this modest, yet surprisingly well presented converted shearing shed has everything to offer when you're looking for a place to stay that's just that little bit different. Private, tranquil, peaceful and serene are four words that spring to mind when one describes our beautiful property. There is 120 acres of nature lovers paradise for you to explore, with a vast range of flora and fauna. Or you can just sit back and relax on the expansive deck or in the comfort of the lounge and soak up the atmosphere and panorama that surrounds you. For the golf fans, why not bring the clubs and try our demanding all weather 180 yard one hole course.

This experience isn't only available to yourselves though, but also to your four legged friends. This property is pet friendly and a heavenly place for your dog. With a lock up kennel and pen available.

The property is divided into two separate sections. The "Six Stand" is  open plan accommodation designed for larger gatherings. It can comfortably accommodate six adults with modern amenities and "Old World" comforts to ensure a delightful experience. The "Two Stand" is a neat, self contained studio semi detached & suitable for 2 people or a couple seeking solitude within the private surrounds. Or you can have the whole property, both the two and six stand combined and accommodate even more.

All this knowing that you're only a short 5km walk or drive away from all of the attractions of Apollo Bay, which has plenty on offer, with great shopping, coffee and seafood aplenty .

The Old Shearing Shed is also a great spot to base your self while spending a couple of days exploring the world famous Great Ocean Road. Pack a picnic and your walking shoes and discover the 12 Apostles or throw the surfboards in the car and experience the amazing local surf beaches.
